95 Comprehension, grades 3-6 is designed for use in teaching students in Tier 2 small groups who have been identified as struggling to comprehend even though their decoding skills are strong.

7 comprehension processes are taught in the following sequence:

• Questioning
• Predicting
• Imaging
• Inferring
• Determining Importance
• Synthesizing

Each strategy is practiced with both fiction and nonfiction text using three sets of spiraled lessons that show students how to integrate the processes together.
